                   A RESOLUTION TO AMEND RESOLUTION NO. 19550,
                   ENCAPTIONED "A RESOLUTION APPROVING REVISED
                   EIGHTEENTH YEAR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK
                   GRANT FUNDING AS SHOWN ON THE SCHEDULE
                   ATTACHED HERETO AND INCORPORATED HEREIN BY
                   REFERENCE." SO AS TO AMEND CERTAIN COMMUNITY
                   DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDING THEREIN.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Resolution No. 19550, encaptioned "A 

       RESOLUTION APPROVING REVISED EIGHTEENTH YEAR COMMUNITY 
DEVELOPMENT
       BLOCK GRANT FUNDING AS SHOWN ON THE SCHEDULE ATTACHED HERETO AND
       INCORPORATED HEREIN BY REFERENCE." be and the same is hereby
       amended by amending said schedule as follows:
             1.	 Orange Grove.  To reduce 18th year allocation from
                 $395,000 to $90,000.
           
             2.	 Storefront Program. To eliminate program for 18th
                 year.  Reduce allocation from $100,000 to $0.
           
             3.	 Revolving Loan Fund. To reduce allocation from
                 $309,261 to $179,261.
           
             4.	 Paving.  Allocate $200,000 to pave streets in
                 targeted low and moderate income neighborhoods.
           
             5.	 Recreation.  Allocate $200,000 for improvements to
                 parks and recreation centers in low and moderate
                 income neighborhoods.
           
             6.	 1200 Block of Market Street.  Allocate $5,000 to be
                 used for costs associated with maintaining
                 buildings within the 1200 Block of Market Street.

             7.	 Chattanooga Housing Authority.  Allocate $130,000
                 for the purpose of making public housing
                 developments accessible to those with disabilities
                 through curb cuts and ramps.
           
             8.	 Inner City Development Corporation. To reduce
                 allocation from $175,000 to $140,583 due to audit
                 finding.
           
             9.	 Martin Luther King Community Development
                 Corporation Storefront Funds. To move $31,000 from
                 Storefront Program to be used for improvements to
                 Central City Complex.
